11/12 Scooters and Pollution

         Without a doubt, scooters are one of the main reasons for air pollution in Taiwan. It is true that the smoke from scooters caused CO2 in the cities, and it has caused the severe air in Taiwan. However, in my point of view, scooters are an important transportation method to Taiwanese commuters. It is obvious that if we ban all scooters, many people will have trouble getting to work. We could create a new law that doesn't allow gasoline engine scooters on the road. By replacing gasoline engines with electronic engines, we can reduce the amount of CO2 in the urban areas. In conclusion, we don't have to ban scooters, in order to lower the air pollution in cities.
